Biografie

DJ, producer and co founder of south London’s Church label, Seb Wildblood is currently exploring the deeper side of electronic music.

For three years now, Seb Wildblood has been leading the South London club scene by example with his illustrious night, Church. Taking place at the legendary Corsica Studios in Elephant and Castle, Church has not only carved a name for itself as one of the most exciting nights in South London, but has provided Seb with a platform to launch his own budding musical career. In late 2012, he took his first steps into production alongside fellow Church founder, and now label partner, Apes, with a remix of Happa’s Bring It Back, and hasn’t looked back since.

Keen interest then followed in Seb Wildblood – known to friends as James Tittensor – and by March the next year he would be releasing an EP featuring stand out track ‘Lusk’ on Kerri Chandler’s MadTech Records. Over the next six months, Seb would follow this with another two remixes with Apes, the first “a deep-house styled dub-chord swing” remix of Rumah – Stutter, and a “deep but toughened” remix of Viers – 0002, both on their Church label. Seb closed out the year with a production of his own on newly founded Church White, entitled ‘Feel’, “laying down a slow-simmering house jam, laden with bongos and plaintive chords that tug at the heart strings with the most delicate of touches.” Previous support has come from the likes of Breach, Ben Pearce, Seth Troxler & Maya Jane Coles to name but a few.

2013 was a strong first full year of productions for Wildblood, with his new found direction taking him across the globe with gigs in New York, Croatia (Dimensions and Outlook festivals), a multitude of cities across Europe, as well as a host of parties across the UK. 2014 kicked off with the announcement that Seb was to release a four track EP with Brighton based label, Skint Records. After the success of the EP, it’s now set for a Vinyl Only Re Release this Autumn with an exclusive Remix from LK.

The latest output from Seb was a killer remix for Cy Humphreys on Ben Pearce’s well respected Purp & Soul Label, aimed directly at the dance floor. This firmly emphasising Seb Wildblood’s ability to work across a wide spectrum of electronic music.
