Senior is still my favourite of theirs. Love those longer, moody instrumental pieces.

first time I heard a Royksopp song was on a Minecraft video about 10 years ago, this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZm5zIO3PZk. Ever since I've been listening to So Easy and Eple intermittently. I'm going to explore their discography someday

Lost the band out of sight for a couple of years after they said in an interview they were done with albums as a format of releasing new music. A few years later, they’re back with a monumental big-ass three-part three-hour-long album. Happy they changed their mind cause I don’t really care about a zillion singles artists release on weekly basis, preferring larger bodies of work that take time, patience, and effort to put together. Really outstanding!

Their "Inevitable End" was an end to the album format. I have always noticed their singles through the times were ways to release more experimental works and not necessarily remixes. They are so many B-Sides to Junior that it's venturing into another side of the group. The triple album from last year was pure love. I knew they didn't give up on music but man oh man, Profound Mysteries was a journey that showed off how they wanted to release music.

What a truly spectacular time to be a fan of this otherworldly duo: "Profound Mysteries", a triple-album comeback totaling 30 tracks, and B+B wanting the continuation of "Lost Tapes" to be 'fan-driven': the latter of which they plan to release several tracks off of their elusive pre-Melody A.M. / post-Drum Island release, "Jesudas", onto the project. Two incredible gifts of experiencing new music and gradually pulling the veil on the holy grail of all Röyksopp releases!

I love love love the first half of it, second part is either a grower or a bit uninspiring.

"If You Want Me" right there at the top where it belongs... A true ethereal masterpiece of electronic music, accompanied with such a heartfelt and raw performance by Susanne. 💔

This is album is beautiful only on the the surface, but it’s fucking creepy if you listen carefully. They way it ends tells me that it all was just a dream or a drug and you’ll be begging to press R to repeat it again and again. It’s like one of the those Black Mirror episodes about fever dream in a virtual reality. Candy crush world in the middle of the dying world. Love inside this tracks is fake and plastic just like in the Disney cartoons. So for me this album is both a capsule of love and both a scary message for a mortal humans who doesn’t appreciate small details of a peaceful ordinary life.

Wow... I was really moved by your analysis and perception of their music, specially this line: "a capsule of love and both a scary message for a mortal humans who doesn’t appreciate small details of a peaceful ordinary life".
