Last week we were lucky enough to welcome Chicago's Mike Kinsella, aka Owen, into the Gibson Studios in central London for an exclusive performance.
Not many musicians have been quite as prolific with their output as Mike has; whether it be in the form of now-defunct cult 90's emo-indie bands American Football and Cap'n Jazz or the currently active indie rock band Joan Of Arc, his songwriting has long been a beacon of consistent excellence.
Away from those bands he has been releasing albums under the moniker Owen and in the process has carved a name for himself as one of the most celebrated underground songwriters of our time.
With that said, it was a pleasure to have him in the studio performing "Love Is Not Enough" and "Breaking Away":
