It's all in the name. Organised and presented by Free Press Houston, the Free Press Summer Festival opened its gates in 2009 with a solid start; welcoming widely revered names such as Explosions In The Sky, of Montreal and The Sword. Fast forward to 2015 and the festival has grown considerably from its humble curtain-raiser of 30,000 to its current count of over 100,000 music lovers across two days. Throw in over 60 of music's most exciting sound-makers (The National? Modest Mouse? Jamie xx? OK then) and you have a date not to be missed in the US festival calendar.
