Another festival, another party! This time, our photographer Steve Galli stopped by the Festival d'été de Québec in Quebec City, the old Canadian francophone city also known as 'Ville de Québec'.
He was among the 80,000 daily music fans who enjoyed Canada's largest outdoor festival, one of the most important musical events in North America. The unique not-for-profit festival has been taking place for 51 years on the historic battlefield of 1759, Plains of Abraham. This year, it brought 300 shows, 10 scenes and 11 days of music!
Headliners included international acts such as The Weekend, Brockhampton, Beck, Cyndi Lauper, Lorde, Neil Young, Oh Wonder, Foo Fighters, Shawn Mendes and many more. The festival continued to embrace its history with a large part of its lineup dedicated to Francophone / French Canadian music, with artists such as Charlotte Cardin, Hubert Lenoir and the iconic Jane Birkin gracing the stage this year, as well as a surprise lineup of Canadian female performers who delivered a tribute to Luc Plamondon.
Check some of the main performers below and click the images for photo galleries of more of the great acts featured this year!
